About Me

My Life

I was born with both a jewish and an islamic name, a commitment to transformative change.

I left four siblings and a one-bed council flat for a boarding school scholarship, discovering that ‘reality’ is often more fluid than it might at first seem.

And 20 years ago I was diagnosed with my third and most life-changing chronic illness. An ecological alarm clock that is disabling and has inspired ultramarathons.

What’s made you who you are today?

My Work - ‘Work is love made visible’ - Khalil Gibran

I started work as a theatre-director, partnering with playwrights, actors and communities to explore how our perceptions shape us.

I went on to support social leadership development - working with civic leaders, international human rights defenders, politicians, social entrepreneurs, pioneering educators and young people. I see leadership as a skill not a birthright.

Now I draw on Process-Oriented Psychology, Peter Koenig’s Source Principles and Complexity Science to help people, couples, teams and communities to help themselves, each other and our wider systems - preferably in that order.

Training - ‘you cannot step twice in the same river’ - Heraclitus

I’m certified in Coaching (Association for Coaching) and Systemic Constellations (Jenny Mackewn), I’m an accredited Sourcework & Moneywork Practitioner, and I’m a long-term Diploma Student of Psychotherapy and Facilitation (ProcessWork UK).

I also have 20+ years practical experience across social change, a Level 4 Certificate in Advanced Personal Training and Nutrition (Active IQ), and an MFA in Theatre Directing (Birkbeck College and Drama Centre).
